Most of you probably don't even remember 8mm movie loops of the seventies and early eighties, but take my word for it - we have cum a long way in photo and video resolution. So when a site like Anna Lacey in HD promises HDTV resolution quality, that merits some serious attention - or does it?
For the longest time (relatively speaking) DVD quality was the hot buzzword for video on the web, but now HDTV has arrived and it looks like I'm going to have my work cut out for me. Why you ask? Well, imagine the worst movie you have ever seen being shown in an IMAX theatre - that's the nature of what HDTV online surfers may have to watch out for.
Even DVD quality movie depots are subject to sharp crappy movies. And it seems that HDTV makes a poorly produced video seem even worse. Ok, I'll put on my happy hat for a few moments and go over the pluses of Anna Lacey in HD.
Members of this site get access to 17 High Definition (HD) TV videos (WMV downloads) - each is broken out into thumbnailed scenes, and each features the hostess of the site, Anna Lacey. Now, Anna is a lovely young lady, with many desirable features and erotic talents. As a professional commercial photographer, I'm always excited with new higher definition media, but often disappointed with missed opportunities with these marvelous technical advances. The videos featured ARE sharp and clear, but they lack the professional levels of videography (lighting, color balance) that one might reasonably expect with a higher resolution product. As with other sites produced by the same makers, I don't really see the point of why they bothered to go 'HD' when the end result is mediocre at best. You do get a much larger video picture than standard resolutions and as far as the member area navigation goes, it's all up to par with other sites of this nature. Picture galleries accompany the videos and the high res (1024x680) photos offer some larger than life closeups which some viewers may find 'inspiring'.
