Has the whole world gone hairy? It seems that almost every major porn producer now offers some form of unshaved, hairy membership site, but sadly, many of these attempts to satisfy this popular niche are not worth the trouble of checking out. Let's see how Beaver Shots measures up.
As the title suggests, this site is about visuals of hairy unshaved female genitals. The images are totally explicit and capture (reasonably) furry women involved in sexual interactions with (mostly) male partners. If you're new to online porn or have not ventured out into the bush zone too often, you may not appreciate some of the differences between hairy sites. Pubic and genital hair alone do not make a successful furry destination. Many who enjoy the unshaved female look tend to appreciate unshaved and UNTRIMMED pubes and naughty bits. There are many sites which claim to offer 'unshaved' but the muffs sported are trimmed and shaved around the edges enough to take away from the raw natural look.
To add to the potential confusion around hairy oriented sites, some sites are just portals to mega-sites. This involves various 'fronts/niches' being marketed - all leading to the same network of member content. Having tons of member content (especially extra topics/bonus) is not a bad thing, UNLESS the 'on-topic' content is lame in quality and/or quantity. These are the sorts of things we need to consider when inspecting a site such as Beaver Shots.
While the preview to this site does put you right in the thick of things, you will probably find (as did I) that the quality of images was not very good. It was pretty obvious that the photos were just screenshots from videos - these rarely make good stills. To compound the (visual) fuzz, the screen captures in the preview are enlarged quite a bit. Usually, the previews of memberships sites show the best quality images to try and entice a member, but in this case, I found the quality of the tour turning me off.
Having said that, the makers of this site must be commended for their honesty - after all, if the members are going to get amateur quality videos and screen caps, then showing this in the main tour is good way to ensure that expectations are properly managed. The preview does clearly outline a series of specific episodes available to members, so you at least know that you will be getting hardcore movies and videos of hairy muffed women getting it on with their lovers.
Time to step inside the members' area. It takes but a moment to see that Beaver Shots is part of an adult network offered by the makers. The navigation of the main page includes thumbnailed links to the hairy episodes. Additionally, and in keeping with typical network sites, most of the member pages are footed with upsells to webcams and dating destinations. On the left side of the screen a list of all the 'bonus' (other sites included in network) are listed.
As with the preview, the thumbnails linking to episode galleries were of poor quality. At time of review, there were 32 video galleries devoted to 'on-topic' (hairy beaver) content. Each episode thumbnail links to a page featuring several viewing formats of the video plus a handful of screenshots to show you what the clip is about. The movies can be viewed in 384K and 800K formats in streaming mode or download - but there is a catch. The movies must be played in a Flash Player which must be downloaded to view movies offline.
The quality of the films vary from ok to pretty good and much of the content does a reasonable job of delivering on the site's hairy promise. The bonus sites included cover the full gamut of popular adult themes - most of which are offered in the same video style format.
Membership to Beaver Shots and the included bonus sites costs $24.95 per month, but you can try the site for $2.95 (2 days) or $16.95 (30 days). I have reviewed many other sites of comparable cost which offer better quality and more on-topic content than this site, so if you're interested, you may want to use the trial plan to wet your feet before diving into the bush at Beaver Shots.
