A friend of mine recently introduced me to an interesting webcam site featuring a watering hole in Africa. It sounded like a novel idea, but when I checked it out, I was less than impressed by the lower quality resolution of the broadcast, UNTIL, a hippo came by, followed by elephants and jackals - all real time and unscripted! You may wonder what a safari site may have to do with this review, and I promise to explain as we check out all the pixels of HDTV Hotties!
As the title suggests, HDTV Hotties features high definition (HD) videos of babes. From further examination, the nature of the wildlife here is very carnal and primal - totally sexual and fully explicit. The important point of interest, at least according to the makers of this site, is that all of the videos are recorded and presented as HDTV. With this in mind, it is reasonable to have greater expectations about the quality of the movies members gain access to. Well, I'm sorry to report, that while the videos are technically, HD, I don't really see why they bothered to record them in such high technical quality.
And here is where my safari webcam analogy comes in. It is the balance (or hopefully aggregate) of the recording quality and the SUBJECT MATTER which determine the overall quality of presentation. In the case of the safari webcam, even crappy resolution was worth watching because it was real and truly interesting. In the case of HDTV Hotties, the women and male participants are attractive and the action is certainly hot, but the quality of filming (lighting, backdrops etc) seems to totally UNDO any advantages the higher resolution could have brought to your monitor.
I think I liked it better when high resolution video recording equipment was available mostly to the professional photographers and videographers. Nowadays, if you can afford an HD recorder, you can TECHNICALLY 'produce' high definition movies. So, buyers BEWARE!
From a factual standpoint, this site DOES live up to its promises. There are 18 HDTV movies which you can download and view as WMV files. If you are connection speed challenged, then you may want to consider the lower res formats available for each movie as well: 720p and 480p. Be prepared for sizeable downloads for even short clips (that is the nature of HDTV). The movies are broken out into thumbnailed clips.
You can also view thumbnailed picture galleries related to the episodes. These are high definition images (980x1500 or so) and they are explicit and sharp. The higher resolution photos seem more impressive than the videos as the closeups are larger than life and embody some very inspiring viewpoints.
The topics include solo female masturbation, male-female and girl-girl couple sexual action as well. Based on what I saw here, and given all the competition out there on the web for this theme and pricing, I would say don't be fooled by the HD gimmick - if you want professionally filmed HD you may need to look elsewhere!
