Upon logging into the member's area of Hentai Collections, I said to myself... "WHAT THE FUCK?" Then I realized the geniuses that designed the site didn't account for Firefox users. I switched to IE and began the review with a rotten taste in my mouth.
Hentai Collections is a hentai website (duh). You can get a free trial but if you want a monthly membership it'll cost you $40. Right off the bat, the price is steep which is rather unfortunate.
The first thing I found when logging into the members area were toon flash games and daily hentai artwork below them. The flash games were toons - not hentai - so I skipped right over them. The daily hentai galleries was where I made my first stop. There were 12 galleries featured here, none of which blew me away. A lot of the galleries were just assorted pictures, some very small. I've seen a lot better quality hentai on most other sites that feature the niche, actually. I navigated to the full photo gallery archive to find under 200 galleries total, none that really impressed me. I also came to the conclusion that those 12 "daily" galleries on the main page are just random ones chosen from the archive on a daily basis. There's no word when the site actually updates with more content.
After checking out the galleries, I focused my attention on the huge menu to the left of my screen. The first link I noticed was XXX HENTAI MOVIES. Now here is where I was PLEASANTLY SUPRISED! Updated every 4 days since May of 2005, this section has a huge archive of full length hentai DVDs. The DVDs can be download in very high quality AVI format. The files are large and the quality is immaculate. I can't believe that this huge section of the site wasn't the first thing that was shown when logging in. I started to see the site in a whole new light.
If you like hentai movies and tons of them, Hentai Collections has what you're looking for. The price is steep and the navigation makes for a deceiving member's area at first but in the end it seems like it may be worth checking out. As I mentioned before, the site updates every 4 days like clockwork with a full length hentai DVD. There are also a ton of other toon bonuses to look through but nothing that impressive. The videos on the site are what make it good so if that's what you're into, give the free trial a shot.
