To me, it has always seemed like there is a hazy line between hairy and hirsute. Sometimes they are used as synonyms, while other times they are two distinct niches, with hairy mainly covering light to heavy covered muffs, and hirsute covering thick bushy muffs, arms, legs, and arm pits. So when it came time to review Hirsute World, I was excited to see the much rarer Hirsute genre covered.
The tour of Hirsute World was very encouraging. In the actual 'sales text' of the page, they talk about the love of a natural women, unspoiled by waxing, shaving, or any sort of hair removal, the way nature intended. This claim struck me as the operators understanding the niche. Their claim:
"Other pretenders out there get a few pictures of a beauty queen with a little trimmed pussy and call it 'hairy' but we know that you want more than that. You want the real thing!"
Those words definitely raised the bar for me - at that point, my expectations definitely jumped. While I was just a bit trepidatious that none of the models on the tour had any sort of hair except on their honey boxes, I decided to jump in and check out the sort of content inside their membership area.
Logging in, I was reminded that this site is one of a network of sites that specialize in hairy content - sites among them include Wild Hairy Girls and Beaver Shots (reviewed separately). There is a significant amount of content available to members, with an emphasis on streaming video. At the time of this writing, forty-nine updates are available inside Hirsute World, each with an impressive runtime that easily outstrips most other porn sites (anywhere from about fifteen minutes on the low end to over thirty minutes). There are usually two or three quality options dependent on your connection speed - low, medium, and high - and the size of the pop-up Flash player is impacted accordingly. While not as clear as a WMV option, the player is more than clear enough to get your rocks off, and loads fast enough (at least on my cable connection) that I can get to what I want seamlessly.
The photo section of Hirsute World is, in a word, broken. The 'Get XXX On Your Mobile' failed as well, and the 'Bonus Niches' returned severe server failures. These need to be addressed, and hopefully will be, as it impacts the professionalism of the site. Luckily their video content pleased me enough that it kept their score higher than it could have been.
The quality of the content is good insofar as hardcore is concerned. The blond, ponytailed slut doing a POV scene, masturbating and taking a cock was quite arousing. She kept talking about her "hairy wet pussy" and running a comb over it, stimulating her lips and clit with the handle. My only problem with the scene is that she wasn't particularly hairy, let alone hirsute. Sure, she had hair on her muff, but hirsute conjured up a scene with one of those 'black forest' bushes - a tangle of furburger that would spill out from behind a pair of panties. This was more of a well kept muff - the hair was there, but not really in force. And she didn't have hair anywhere else - not a single strand on her arms, legs or anywhere else. I decided to browse some of the other scenes, and those certainly had those glorious tangled mink coats for muff covers, but I really didn't see any other body hair, and certainly not at the level that hirsute implies.
Still, the operators are delivering a lot of value. In addition to the forty-nine updates available at the time of this writing, you also get access to nineteen other full sites (including those listed above) as well as access to feed driven content, so if you are bored, you can always catch a scene from the extensive DVD library.
Hirsute World has a $1 trial that recurs at $38.21, a thirty-day recurring membership for $29.91, or a ninety day membership for $59.91. Even with the technical issues it is a reasonable value - provided you don't go in with expectations of body hair other than a nice muff cover. Assuming that they fix the issues that plagued my visit with the site, this is a fair addition to your porn collection.
