Just Lush Babes - a pretty straightforward concept. Show me what I want, hot naked girls getting it on, playing with their pussies with toys, fingers, and sometimes each other's tongues. I think sites that7 don't fuck around and get to the point are refreshing - so with great enthusiasm, I decided to give them a good once over.
The introduction/tour pages are pretty simple, if a bit image heavy. I won't find fault with them for not putting a lot of sales text around the images of the girls (maybe it is their philosophy not to get in the way of a good nude picture), but the background and layout images slowed the page load. I clicked around some more once on the photo section, then to the home page, and then was presented with a MySQL error (from the software that runs the site) - not good!!
After refreshing the page, the site seemed to pick up speed, and the errors cleaned themselves up, so I decided to dispense with the rest of the free offerings pages and log in to check out the good stuff. After logging in, you are presented with the same exact layout as the main sales page, with the exception that there is some text that you are now in the membership area. There is no porn on the main (home) page, which seems like a waste.
The next page in the navigation, "What's New" almost seems like it should be the home page. It presents the latest picture set and video set. Just one each, no previous updates, so it honestly feels a bit empty. I clicked on the latest picture set, and was relieved to see that the thumbs were nicely scaled so that they didn't pixelate, and that the full-sized pictures were of a decent size (the galley I sampled were 800x1200). The girls are definitely cute, what I would classify as "amateur hot" - not glammed out with makeup. The amount of pictures is generous in the sets that I sampled - over 140 pictures in one, but many of the shots seemed to be duplicates, with perhaps a moved hand, or a different placement of an arm. There are sixty galleries altogether, so a decent amount that won't leave you bored after a day, but which you can probably digest inside of a month or two. The action in the picture section is almost exclusively toy based - only four out of the fifty-nine (59) sets had two girls in them.
The video section was disappointing. Only thirteen updates are available at the time of this writing - I'd like to see more. The babes were hot which of course is the main component on any site - so good marks for that. Again, most of the action centers around solo girls masturbating with toys - only two sets out of the thirteen have any girl on girl action (at the time of this writing). All the movies are in wmv format, and there really isn't a component for streaming. You have to download each movie as a full chunk, and because they can be fairly large, this could present a problem to those on dial-up connections, or even slow-service DSL or Cable connections. Even on my fairly fast connection, the time to download a movie seemed painfully slow.
I continued on to the "models" page of the site. Each models page contains a nice picture (300x450), some basic biographical information on the girl, and links to the video and picture galleries that features the model. I would have liked more biographic information on the page (yes, I am the dork that actually reads the Playmate bios in Playboy), but it is nice that they filter the information so you can find what you are looking for. On the downside, it seems a bit superfluous, since the site seems a bit sparse on content, but as updates continue, I could see how this could become a valuable resource.
At $19.95 (recurring) or $24.99 (non-recurring), the membership fee isn't outrageous, but is still a bit high - I would think a $9.95 to be a bit more appropriate. The billing is handled by CCBill, a rock-solid trustworthy name in this business if there ever was, so no worries about billing issues with your credit card. They also offer different currency billing options, so you may find that by using your local currency, you are better off (of course, with the volatility in the market, who knows). Not a site that I can recommend, but it does contain some promise, so not a complete canning either.
