There are always pluses and minuses when dealing with brand new adult sites on the web. We're going to take a look at Magic Laura and see if we end up with star dust or ashes!
Magic Laura is one of several sites produced by the same makers. There is definitely a serious attempt at a site network brand here, but as the site is very obviously new (as evidenced by the smaller volume of content as compared to other such sites), it's difficult to get too excited just yet.
There are video and picture galleries of mostly Laura, a reasonably hot blonde gal who is featured indoors and outdoors in a variety of situations and settings including: posing bare breasted in see-through panties at the beach while pouring a smoothie all over her breasts; sitting in the sand on the beach while the tide wets her thin panties and she pulls up her top to show off her breasts; posing in a thong bikini and showing off a bit of her pubic hair; posing in water topless wearing sheer panties; posing clothed on a motorbike; ripping her sheer panties and showing her shaved pussy with trimmed pubes; applying suntan lotion to her bikini-clad bod; some (kind of) glam studio sets.
All in all, the photo sets are very softcore, and frankly, I found them boring as far as innovation and quality of photography. The photo sets ARE neatly organized with paginated thumbnails and each photo is available in medium (600x400) and high (2544x1696) resolutions, but shooting content with a hi-res camera is no guarantee of hi quality results. The photos seem to suggest an amateur home grown attempt at some sexy(ish) snaps, but I would not even consider the result pro amateur. The photos are definitely better that the kind you will typically find as sample images on a dating ad, but beyond that, and despite my earnest efforts, I could not find anything which motivated me enough to get enthused about this destination.
It is important to say that the site is reasonably well designed, and (mostly) void of the usual upsell annoyances - typical of other sites, and the content is honestly promoted and presented (ie. you get what you are promised for the most part), but with so many soft glam sites out there, offering tons of contents and models, forking out the bucks for a single model site with a relatively limited volume of content is something most savvy surfers would not be into (and rightly so).
I'm sad to say, that, even with the limited content, many of the photos are extremely repetitive (same pose slightly changed), and from closer examination of the hi res-images, there seems to be a suspicious patchiness of the model's skin around the belly area which suggests either several tatoos have been removed in real live or as part of post-production fixes - either way, another example of how hi resolution does not always work in favor of the image.
There are less than 10 video galleries which feature Laura. While there are addition videos to view which bump the number up a bit, these videos ARE UPSELLS - they are headed with a banner. The videos do offer a bit more sexuality (masturbation) but again, as with the photos, they seem to lack spark. I did not like that I had to download (only option) my WMV file to find out that the video I selected was not worth the download time.
Members are able to email Laura through an online form and request custom private photos (for more money), but even with this attempt at fostering a fan club, the ticket price of $24.95 for 30 days (recurring) is over the top. $9.95 will get you a three day trial, and $39.95 will get you 90 days access, but until members are offered a 2 hour trial, I'd say that Magic Laura does not (yet?) offer enough to do the trick!
